The Big Island of Hawaii is getting a little bigger as lava from the Kilauea Volcano flows into the Pacific Ocean. _ Today we flew over the Big Island of Hawaii in an open-door helicopter, fulfilling a long-time bucket list item of mine and getting up close to a live volcano. _ I could feel the heat radiating from the red-hot lava.
